Maria Martines was born in the province of Catania in 1952. She has been a retired teacher since 2014. During her experience she has enjoyed writing. He has written two books: - My land – The passage of time; a book of poetry in March 2019: - On the thread of memory. He received a poetry prize in his home country for the work: - The light. He participated in the Cultural Competition of Studies and Society of the Piedmont Region for Love Literature, receiving the mention award from the jury for: - The little Indian artist. His aspiration is to want to convey his values and his love of life to his readers.
